1.) Think Before You Act
No matter what I think about it all serves for one purpose: work on myself as a whole. Physically and mentally, I have always been a work in progress that has always been confused if not undeniably awkward. Change has always been a constant in everyone’s life but of course being a 19 yr old college student with no experience in the real world, I am always looking for the right change as any other person would. To be able to define myself and the actions I do not only because I enjoy it, but to be able to use them to define me.
As I write this I sit in a philosophy class “Critical Thinking & Logic,” how useful has this class been? I wouldn’t know cause I’ve only spent my time on my laptop, either on the art of manliness, primer magazine or real men real style. See the trend there? all about being a man and how a man acts. I’m so focused on being the ideal man that it definitely affects the things I do in everyday life. This was only supposed to be me posting some rules to start living my life by but I ended up trying to explain something to myself when I look back on these rules. You can be this “ideal man” but it will have no meaning if you don’t make it mean more then just good ideas.
Cement these rules into your mind, force yourself to live by them, and give it a real shot before dropping it and saying “it just wasn’t for me.” Make these rules count towards your life and look back on these as you began your journey and understand that you carved your way into becoming the man you stand as today.
Rules:
1.) Think Before You Act
2.) Be Altruistic
3.) Be Genuine
